Marith and Jørgen get married in Gruo

On Saturday 24 June 2017, Marith Hauglid Hildal and Jørgen Bakke Skauge got married in Gruo on Litlabø. The wedding ring was in the large hall in Høgåsen mine, and the wedding party was in Heishuset where 70 guests were invited. Anneli Olsbø from the Human-Ethical Association was married to the court. The guests, helmets up, were seen into the mine by Ansgar Vedå and Ivar J. Helleland from Venelaget for Gruo who were responsible for the technical implementation in the mountains. The bridal couple was driven into the bridle wagon pulled by the locomotive Geito with a camper in the vein team, Torbjørn Marthinsen as the train driver.

The ceremony in the mountains began with a poem reading after the entrance march Radical Face «welcomme home, son». The poem readings were favorite song lyrics read by fiancés Ragnhil Grødem, Jan Christian Johannessen Liby and Anita L. Williams. The musical element was "Hjerteknuser" performed by Kristina F. Haugli with accompaniment by Sander H. Askeland on guitar.

Marriage Anneli Olsbø from the Human-Ethical Association gave the speech for the bridal couple.

The wedding Anneli Olsbø gave a speech for the bridal couple before the final wedding, when the couple answered forcefully and clearly yes, and she could tell them to be the right couple to be. Jørgen put the ring on Marith's finger and Marith on Jørgen's finger. Then it was duka for the first kiss as a couple, to great applause from the guest.

On the train ride out that the couple was honored and wanted to close by the guest along the track in beautiful nice sunshine. Under Sjakttårnet there was a reception before the party started in Heishuset with dinner, chat and dancing until well into the wee hours.
